Job Description:

The Supermarket Manager will direct daily retail store operations, manage store floor staff, monitor shelf inventory replenishment, enforce customer service standards, ensure food hygiene compliance, and partner with senior retail management to drive branch profitability and sales growth. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day supermarket operations to ensure smooth workflow, high customer satisfaction, and store profitability.
• Supervise, train, and schedule store staff, cashiers, and merchandisers while maintaining service standards.
• Monitor stock replenishment, shelf merchandising, product placement, and inventory accuracy across departments.
• Enforce company operational policies, health and safety regulations, and cleanliness standards throughout the premises.
• Manage customer feedback, resolve in-store inquiries, and drive local customer retention initiatives.
• Analyze daily sales figures, track shrinkage, and minimize inventory loss across high-turnover grocery lines.

🔹 Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related discipline.
• Mandatory prior experience as a Store Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or Supermarket Manager in a busy retail environment.
• Strong leadership, staff supervision, scheduling, and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of retail store operations, inventory control, POS cashiering, and visual merchandising.
• Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and operational decision-making abilities.
• Capable of managing multi-department grocery store operations effectively in Abu Dhabi.
