Job Description:

The Category Manager – UAE Procurement & Buying will develop category strategies, oversee local procurement, manage vendor partnerships, negotiate commercial agreements, drive revenue and margin growth, and collaborate closely with executive management in the UAE. Explore additional category and procurement management vacancies across the region.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute overall category strategies to meet top-line sales, profit margins, and P&L growth targets.
• Lead UAE local procurement, vendor onboarding, and product assortment planning across key consumer categories.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, credit agreements, volume rebates, and promotional funding with suppliers.
• Manage assortment performance, pricing competitiveness, stock turn, and category inventory availability.
• Collaborate across Marketing, Operations, Logistics, and Finance teams to drive targeted promotional campaigns.

🔹 Requirements:

• 8 to 12+ years of proven UAE/GCC experience in Category Management, Buying, Procurement, or E-commerce/Retail.
• Deep category experience in Consumer Electronics, Mobile Devices, Home Appliances, or Health & Beauty.
• An established local supplier, distributor, brand, and wholesaler network across the UAE market is essential.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen with strong contract negotiation and P&L management expertise.
• Strong analytical capability and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
