Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Treatment Delivery: Accurately deliver prescribed radiation doses to oncology patients using advanced linear accelerators and treatment systems.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict radiation safety practices and clinical protocols to protect patients, staff, and the environment.
- multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work effectively within a specialized team of oncologists, medical physicists, and nurses to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
- Patient Positioning: Ensure precise patient positioning and immobilization for simulation and treatment to maintain geographical accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in daily equipment checks and quality assurance procedures to ensure optimal performance of oncology technologies.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain meticulous electronic medical records (EMR) and treatment logs in accordance with DOH and hospital standards.
🔹 Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in Radiation Oncology within a hospital setting.
- Licensing: Possession of a valid DOH license (or another UAE healthcare license) is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Radiation Therapy, Medical Imaging, or a related healthcare certification.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of radiation safety standards, oncology treatment protocols, and medical physics basics.
- Availability: Candidates with immediate availability will be given high priority.
- Soft Skills: Compassionate patient care approach and the ability to function efficiently in a high-pressure clinical environment.
