Accountant – Abu Dhabi, UAE | Al Khalidiya Group

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage daily accounting functions, including the processing of invoices, payments, and receipt postings across multiple business units.
• Ledger Management: Maintain high-fidelity financial records and perform regular bank, vendor, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Working Capital: Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycles to optimize the group’s cash flow.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports to provide insights into the performance of different subsidiaries.
• VAT & Tax: Ensure total adherence to UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations, including accurate filing and documentation.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and facilitate both internal and external audits, ensuring all regulatory reporting is completed within strict deadlines.

🔹 Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of proven accounting experience within the UAE (experience in construction or manufacturing services preferred).
• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of UAE accounting principles and current VAT regulations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory; experience with ERP systems is a significant advantage.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Availability: Priority will be given to candidates available for immediate joining.
