Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Assessments: Administer, score, and interpret a wide range of standardized psychological assessments and diagnostic tests.
- Professional Reporting: Draft detailed, high-quality psychological reports that provide clear clinical insights and recommendations for care.
- Therapeutic Counseling: Provide evidence-based counseling support to patients, effectively managing various mental health concerns and behavioral challenges.
- Family Support: Deliver guidance and counseling to families and caregivers, fostering a collaborative approach to patient recovery and development.
- Documentation: Maintain rigorous, confidential, and professional clinical documentation in accordance with DHA standards and healthcare ethics.
- Independent Practice: Effectively manage a part-time caseload while ensuring the highest quality of patient care and clinical safety.
🔹 Requirements:
- Licensure: A valid and active DHA (Dubai Health Authority) license is strictly mandatory for this role.
- Assessment Expertise: Proven experience in administering standardized psychological tests (e.g., IQ, ADHD, or personality assessments).
- Writing Skills: Exceptional skills in psychological report writing, with the ability to convey clinical data to both professionals and families.
- Experience: Background in counseling families and caregivers is highly preferred.
- Specialization: Prior experience in Pediatric Psychology is considered a significant advantage.
- Attributes: Ability to work independently with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
