🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Assistance: Support veterinarians during consultations and complex surgical procedures, ensuring patient stability.
• Procedural Skills: Competently perform blood withdrawal and IV cannula placement for small animal patients.
• Surgical Prep: Prepare the operating theatre, sterilize equipment, and position patients for surgery under strict hygiene standards.
• Patient Monitoring: Oversee the recovery of animals post-operation, monitoring vital signs and managing pain relief.
• Animal Handling: Safely restrain and handle various breeds of dogs and cats to ensure the safety of both the staff and the pet.
• Clinic Governance: Maintain high standards of clinic cleanliness and adhere to international infection control protocols.

🔹 Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience specifically as a Veterinary Nurse or Vet Assistant.
• Technical Skills: Must be highly competent in IV catheter placement and surgical theatre preparation.
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Nursing or a related animal healthcare field.
• Communication: Basic English communication skills are required for internal coordination and client interaction.
• Personal Attributes: Strong teamwork mindset, resilience in a fast-paced environment, and a deep passion for animal welfare.
• Note: This position is not intended for Veterinary Medicine graduates (DVM).
