Job Description:
The Assistant Accountant will support the finance team in daily operations. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth execution of Finance activities, from petty cash management to audit preparation.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in financial reporting and budgeting activities.
- Handle petty cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions effectively.
- Process invoices, payments, and journal entries with high precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and related financial accounts.
- Prepare various financial documents, reports, and statements as required.
- Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Maintain and update financial records and accounting databases.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Dependent visa preferred.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and accounting software (ERP knowledge is an advantage).
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
