Job Description:
We are looking to hire a dedicated and experienced Arabic Social Worker who is fluent in both Arabic and English. This role is essential for supporting the emotional, social, and academic wellbeing of our students. You will serve as a bridge between students, parents, and the school Management, ensuring that every child has the support they need to thrive. The ideal candidate is a professional who is deeply passionate about student welfare and possesses the interpersonal skills required to handle sensitive situations with care and diplomacy.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive social support and guidance to students to promote their overall wellbeing and mental health.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school leadership to identify and address individual student needs.
- Assist in conflict resolution and offer professional counseling support to students as required.
- Develop and implement proactive programs or interventions designed to support positive student development and behavior.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records of all student interactions, interventions, and progress.
- Ensure full compliance with school policies and relevant UAE social services regulations.
- Coordinate with the Human Resources department on student-related administrative documentation and welfare reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a social worker specifically within a school environment.
- Bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
- A valid Social Services License or eligibility to obtain one in the UAE is highly encouraged.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse school community.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Passion for student welfare and a commitment to making a meaningful impact on the school community.
- Current residence in the UAE or readiness to work in Sharjah.
