Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager with a specialist background in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Credit Control. This role is pivotal in steering the group’s financial health through sophisticated budgeting, accurate forecasting, and rigorous receivables management. You will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights for the Management team, ensuring that our retail operations are optimized for profitability and compliant with evolving UAE tax frameworks.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Budgeting & Forecasting (FP&A): Lead the annual budgeting cycle and prepare rolling monthly forecasts for P&L and Cash Flow.
- Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to improve store performance.
- Develop retail-specific financial models incorporating drivers like NOB, ATV, GP%, shrinkage, and labor percentages.
- Prepare weekly flash reports and executive dashboards for senior Management review.
- Credit Control & Receivables: Oversee credit policies, customer onboarding, and monitor Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Manage aging analysis, collection processes, and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) provisions in line with IFRS 9.
- Ensure VAT-compliant invoicing and support compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations.
- Reinforce internal controls and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the finance function.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department for payroll budgeting and labor cost analysis.
🔹 Requirements:
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CMA (Qualified or Finalist status).
- 5–10 years of robust finance experience specifically within the Retail or CPG sectors.
- Advanced Excel expertise and proven skills in complex financial modeling.
- Solid understanding of IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 9 fundamentals.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UAE VAT; exposure to Corporate Tax is an advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to influence operational stakeholders.
- Must currently be residing in the UAE.
