Job Description:

We are currently seeking a professional and service-oriented Reservations Agent to join our dedicated Reservations Team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, responsible for managing room bookings with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who understands the nuances of hotel revenue management and is passionate about converting inquiries into memorable guest stays. This position requires a sharp mind for detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all incoming room reservation inquiries professionally via phone, email, and online channels.
  • Accurately process new bookings, modifications, and cancellations within the hotel system.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Sales, and Revenue teams to optimize occupancy.
  • Ensure correct rate loading and strict adherence to hotel pricing and revenue policies.
  • Respond promptly to guest and travel agent inquiries, ensuring high conversion rates.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date reservation records, logs, and daily arrival reports.
  • Proactively upsell higher room categories and additional hotel services whenever appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources department for departmental training and service standard audits.
  • Liaise with Management to ensure all guest special requests are documented and fulfilled.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or a relevant certificate in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven experience as a Reservations Agent in a UAE hotel setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of hotel reservation systems, including PMS, CRS, and OTA platforms.
  • Solid understanding of room categories, rate structures, corporate packages, and availability control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and booking management.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per operational requirements.
  • Must currently be based in the United Arab Emirates.
