Operations Executive – Freight Forwarding

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Executive to join our dynamic logistics team. This role is designed for a professional with hands-on exposure to the full freight forwarding lifecycle, from import/export documentation to local port coordination. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to execute strategic operational tasks and support the growth of our multimodal service offerings. The ideal candidate is a technical expert in Dubai’s port systems (Mirsal/Dubai Trade) and possesses the agility to manage specialized cargo movements for our global energy partners.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily freight forwarding operations for Air, Sea, and Land shipments (Import & Export).
- Coordinate with local and international suppliers to ensure efficient and timely cargo execution.
- Handle specialized cargo movements for Oil, Gas, and Energy sectors and multinational accounts.
- Prepare operational BIDs and contractual documents in coordination with the Management team.
- Liaise with Dubai Air and Sea ports for smooth cargo clearing and forwarding activities.
- Execute documentation via Mirsal, Dubai Trade, and Calogi systems with high accuracy.
- Submit weekly activity reports and monthly performance metrics to the Operations Manager.
- Travel within the UAE or internationally as required to support complex operational needs.
- Support the Human Resources and Finance teams with operational data for performance and payroll processing.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or relevant professional certification in Logistics or Supply Chain.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding Operations (UAE experience preferred).
- Mandatory: Practical proficiency in Mirsal, Dubai Trade, and Calogi systems.
- Strong working knowledge of Dubai Air and Sea port export/import procedures.
- Proven experience in handling cargo for the Oil, Gas, and Energy industries.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Must be available for immediate joining (on Visit Visa or Cancelled Visa).
