Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Authority Coordinator to lead the submission and approval lifecycle for our engineering and construction projects. In this vital role, you will be the primary liaison between our internal design teams and Abu Dhabi’s regulatory bodies. You will ensure that all architectural, structural, and MEP documentation is perfectly aligned with local codes before submission. The ideal candidate is a technical coordinator who thrives in navigating government portals and possesses the expertise to expedite project approvals without compromising on compliance or quality.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Handle the complete submission lifecycle with key Abu Dhabi authorities, including ADM, ADDC, ADCD, ADSSC, and Estidama.
- Prepare and manage NOCs, building permit applications, and completion certificates via MePS and Abu Dhabi e-Services.
- Verify that all drawings and technical documentation meet local regulatory codes and Estidama sustainability guidelines.
- Consistently monitor submission progress and maintain meticulous tracking logs to prevent project delays.
- Draft, review, and refine technical applications and official correspondence for government entities.
- Coordinate with Architectural and Engineering teams to resolve any technical comments from authorities.
- Liaise with the Management team to provide regular status updates on project approval timelines.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources department regarding administrative compliance and documentation standards.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or a related administrative field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven UAE experience specifically handling authority submissions in Abu Dhabi.
- Expert working knowledge of MePS (Municipal Electronic Permitting System) and other Abu Dhabi government portals.
- Strong understanding of Abu Dhabi construction regulations, including Estidama and ADDC/ADCD requirements.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is a significant advantage.
- Strong technical writing skills for drafting official applications and documentation.
- Preference will be given to female candidates currently on family or spouse sponsorship.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex project approvals simultaneously.
