Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Estimator (Fresher) to join our expanding team. This role is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a Civil Engineering graduate to build specialized skills in quantity take-offs, AutoCAD shop drawings, and CNC production coordination. You will work closely with our procurement and site teams to ensure accurate costing and material planning. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a strong technical mindset and a willingness to learn the intricacies of interior fit-out and fabrication. This role provides comprehensive training on our CNC systems, allowing you to bridge the gap between digital design and physical production while managing critical project documentation.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Review detailed project drawings, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare material take-offs and cost estimates using AutoCAD and related CAD software.
- Create and modify shop drawings and CAD layouts required for both site execution and CNC fabrication.
- Assist the Management team in pricing labor, raw materials, and specialized subcontract packages.
- Coordinate daily with site teams, design departments, and CNC operators to ensure production alignment.
- Support the procurement department in supplier sourcing, material verification, and price comparisons.
- Receive specialized training on CNC operations to provide backup support for production workflows when required.
- Maintain highly organized estimation logs and project documentation for future audit and reference.
- Liaise with Human Resources regarding onsite workforce requirements and timesheet data for cost estimation.
🔹 Requirements:
- Mandatory: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Fresh graduates (Freshers) are highly encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / CAD software is mandatory.
- Ability to prepare basic structural/interior drawings and detailed shop drawings.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive willingness to learn new technical processes.
- Basic knowledge of interior fit-out materials and CNC fabrication is a plus (training will be provided).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multicultural team.
- Knowledge of general UAE industry practices and material standards is considered an advantage.
