Job Description:
We are seeking skilled, visionary educators to join the senior Management team and lead various academic departments. These roles are critical in maintaining our high standards of teaching and learning across the British curriculum. As a leader at North Gate, you will be responsible for inspiring both staff and students, driving departmental performance, and contributing to the school’s strategic vision. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about education and possess the emotional intelligence and professional expertise to lead a diverse team in a high-profile Dubai school.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for your respective department or the wider school.
- Monitor and improve the quality of teaching and learning through regular observations and feedback.
- Develop and implement a robust curriculum aligned with British standards and KHDA requirements.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding staff recruitment, professional development, and performance appraisals.
- Manage departmental budgets and coordinate with the Management on resource allocation.
- Oversee the integration of modern Information Technology tools within the classroom to enhance student engagement.
- Coordinate with Engineering and facilities teams to ensure all specialized labs and studios (Science, ICT, DT) are maintained to high safety standards.
- Foster strong relationships with parents and the wider community to support student progress.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject area (PGCE/QTS is highly preferred).
- Proven experience as an educator, with specific experience in the British National Curriculum.
- Previous leadership experience (Head of Year, Head of Dept, or Senior Leader) is a significant advantage.
- Deep understanding of pedagogical best practices and assessment for learning.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead a multicultural staff.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex administrative tasks.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Familiarity with UAE educational regulations and KHDA inspection frameworks is preferred.
