Job Description:
Al-Futtaim Engineering is currently expanding its Fire & Life Safety (FLS) Division and is seeking experienced Fire Protection Engineers to join our teams in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. This role is essential for ensuring that large-scale and high-impact projects meet strict safety codes and operational requirements. We are looking for technical experts specialized in either Fire Fighting Systems (suppression/sprinklers) or Fire Alarm Systems (detection/control). The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in the UAE market, possessing the technical acumen to oversee installation, testing, and commissioning phases while liaising effectively with local authorities to secure necessary approvals.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of comprehensive fire protection and life safety systems.
- Ensure all engineering designs and site activities strictly comply with UAE Civil Defense regulations and international safety codes.
- Coordinate effectively with onsite teams and subcontractors to manage various stages of project execution.
- Liaise with the Management team to provide technical reports and project progress updates.
- Work closely with Human Resources to ensure onsite safety protocols and technical training standards are maintained.
- Utilize Information Technology tools for project documentation, material submittals, and system programming.
- Identify and resolve technical design challenges to ensure systems perform optimally during emergencies.
- Manage project timelines rigorously to deliver high-quality results within specified deadlines.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Safety).
- Proven hands-on experience in Fire Protection Engineering within the UAE.
- Strong technical expertise in the installation and commissioning of Fire Fighting or Fire Alarm systems.
- Deep understanding of UAE authority regulations (Civil Defense) and NFPA standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure on large-scale projects.
- Strong communication skills in English to coordinate with multicultural project stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on safety, quality, and technical integrity.
- Professional membership in relevant engineering bodies is an advantage.
