Job Description:
We are looking to hire a motivated and detail-focused General Accountant to join our expanding Finance Department. This role is perfectly suited for entry-level professionals or recent graduates who are eager to build a solid foundation in corporate accounting. You will be an integral part of our daily accounting operations, assisting the senior finance team in maintaining impeccable financial records and supporting vital reporting and compliance activities. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily accounting transactions and manage routine bookkeeping tasks with high accuracy.
- Assist with monthly closing activities, including the preparation of accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and conduct periodic reviews of balance sheet accounts.
- Verify expense entries to ensure correct account classification and adherence to internal control policies.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized documentation in strict compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, statements, and supporting schedules for the Management team.
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding payroll verification and employee-related expense reimbursements.
- Liaise with Information Technology to ensure the efficient operation of accounting software and financial data security.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance is mandatory.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience; UAE fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger practices.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is considered a significant added advantage.
- High attention to detail combined with a proactive learning mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently within set timelines.
- Good communication skills in English to coordinate effectively with multicultural team members.
