Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and specialized RERA Auditor to join our growing audit practice in Dubai. This role is critical for ensuring that our real estate clients remain in full compliance with the stringent financial frameworks established by the Real Estate Regulatory Agency. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of service charges, owners’ associations, and property management companies. The ideal candidate is a qualified ACCA or CA professional with deep technical knowledge of UAE service charge budgets and expense reconciliations. We are looking for an auditor who can navigate complex financial data with precision and provide the high-quality assurance that UHY James is known for globally.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct audits in strict accordance with RERA guidelines, UAE laws, and international auditing standards.
- Meticulously review service charge budgets and perform detailed expense reconciliations for large-scale property developments.
- Ensure absolute compliance with RERA regulations across all audit activities and financial submissions.
- Perform specialized audits for real estate management companies, community management firms, and owners’ associations (OA).
- Collaborate with internal Management to verify the accuracy of financial records and identify potential control weaknesses.
- Liaise with Information Technology teams to utilize advanced audit software for data analytics and extraction.
- Coordinate with Human Resources to stay updated on technical training and professional development requirements.
- Draft comprehensive audit reports and findings for review by senior partners and regulatory authorities.
🔹 Requirements:
- Mandatory: ACCA or CA qualification (Chartered Accountant).
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of direct UAE RERA audit experience is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of service charge audits, financial compliance, and property law in Dubai.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) standards.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail in financial verification.
- Excellent communication skills in English to handle client interactions and regulatory queries.
- Candidates must be currently based in Dubai and available for immediate joining or a short notice period.
