We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our growing team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a finance professional who combines strong technical accounting expertise with proven leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for overseeing our accounting operations, ensuring that all financial activities are conducted with total accuracy and in strict compliance with UAE standards. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between senior management and the production team, providing professional guidance on complex accounting issues and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial reports. ๐น Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of accountants and bookkeepers by allocating tasks and monitoring overall performance.
- Review high-volume financial transactions and approve entries to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare periodic financial and management reports for internal and stakeholder review.
- Provide professional guidance on complex accounting issues and recommend technical solutions.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audit processes and ensure all required documentation is validated and available.
- Partner with the Human Resources department to assist in training initiatives and conduct staff performance evaluations.
- Liaise with the Information Technology team to optimize the use of financial systems and accounting software.
- Stay updated on the latest IFRS standards, VAT regulations, and UAE industry best practices.
๐น Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) โ Philippines Passer.
- Prior work experience in an accounting or auditing firm within the UAE is required.
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, and UAE VAT compliance requirements.
- Proven supervisory or team management experience is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally, or Zoho) and MS Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills in English.
