Job Description:
PKF Abu Dhabi is currently hiring Senior Auditors, as well as high-performing Audit Associates ready for the next step in their careers. This role is suited for finance professionals with a solid grounding in core external audit who are eager to lead engagements from planning through to completion. You will be responsible for executing audit fieldwork, identifying risk areas, and addressing complex technical matters while maintaining close coordination with clients. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate sound judgment, strong technical mastery of IFRS, and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes within strict timelines. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute comprehensive external audit fieldwork while coordinating directly with client finance teams.
- Take full ownership of audit engagements, ensuring all working papers are finalized in line with PKF methodology.
- Identify significant risk areas and provide technical solutions for complex accounting and audit matters.
- Review and finalize audit documentation, ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Liaise with the Management team to provide progress updates and ensure timely delivery of audit reports.
- Partner with Human Resources to mentor junior audit associates and support team development initiatives.
- Utilize advanced Information Technology and audit software to enhance engagement efficiency and data analysis.
- Ensure all reporting is conducted in strict compliance with IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements.
🔹 Requirements:
- Mandatory: Recognized professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or ICAEW.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of post-qualification experience in core external audit.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Hands-on end-to-end statutory audit experience with direct client-facing exposure.
- Strong technical knowledge of IFRS Accounting Standards and International Standards on Auditing.
- Prior UAE audit experience is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational ability, and professional communication skills.
- Ability to join immediately or within a one-month notice period is highly desirable.
