Job Description:
ESCO is currently seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Arabic-speaking Accountant to join its accounting team in Dubai. This role is critical for managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of our manufacturing costing activities. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial reports, maintaining meticulous records, and coordinating data flow across internal departments. We are looking for an experienced professional who can navigate ERP systems with ease and provide analytical insights that support the company’s financial health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing sector and the ability to work effectively within a high-standard accounting framework.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate daily accounting vouchers and record all financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of month-end financial statements and detailed management reports.
- Handle complex costing procedures to ensure the accurate allocation of manufacturing expenses and overheads.
- Coordinate with production and engineering departments to ensure accurate financial data flow regarding raw materials and labor.
- Maintain proper documentation and physical/digital accounting archives for audit readiness.
- Liaise with the Human Resources team to ensure accurate payroll accounting and benefit reconciliations.
- Utilize Information Technology and ERP software to streamline financial workflows and reporting.
- Support the senior finance team in maintaining strict compliance with company policies and UAE financial standards.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is mandatory.
- More than 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the Manufacturing sector.
- Fluency in Arabic is mandatory for professional communication and documentation.
- High proficiency in ERP software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Tally).
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on cost accounting and financial precision.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Preferably below 35 years of age to align with current team dynamics.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and standard accounting principles.
