Job Description:
Ebonite Decor LLC is currently seeking a dedicated and proactive HSE Officer to support our ongoing construction and interior fit-out projects across the UAE. This role is essential for ensuring that every project site remains in full compliance with local workplace safety standards and international best practices. You will be responsible for identifying potential hazards, enforcing strict safety policies, and fostering a culture of health and safety among our site teams. We are looking for a safety professional with a strong technical background in fit-out environments who can move independently across multiple sites to maintain our reputation for operational safety and compliance.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies across multiple active project locations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and detailed risk assessments to ensure full compliance with UAE HSE regulations.
- Implement robust safety procedures and immediate corrective measures where high-risk hazards are identified.
- Prepare detailed safety reports and maintain accurate documentation for management review and audit purposes.
- Coordinate with site engineering teams to promote safety awareness and strict adherence to technical standards.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department to coordinate safety inductions and verify staff certifications.
- Ensure all on-site activities are aligned with both regulatory requirements and internal company safety protocols.
- Utilize Information Technology tools to log incidents and track safety performance metrics digitally.
🔹 Requirements:
- NEBOSH IGC certification or an equivalent qualification is mandatory.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in HSE specifically within construction or interior fit-out environments.
- A valid UAE driving license is mandatory for independent movement between project sites.
- Strong understanding of UAE health and safety regulations, including Dubai Municipality and Civil Defence codes.
- Proven ability to prepare risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and technical safety reports.
- Excellent communication skills in English; ability to conduct safety briefings effectively.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage safety compliance across multiple locations simultaneously.
- Immediate joiners will be given significant preference.
