Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Planning Engineer (Façade) to join our team and oversee the scheduling and coordination of our expanding project portfolio. This role is critical for ensuring that high-quality façade projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive project schedules, monitoring site progress, and identifying potential delays before they impact delivery. We are looking for a candidate with hands-on experience in the technical nuances of façade systems who can collaborate effectively with design, procurement, and site teams. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented engineer to take ownership of project workflows in a dynamic and supportive specialized engineering firm.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule complex façade projects, ensuring all milestones are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Coordinate project activities with multiple stakeholders, including architects and sub-contractors, to ensure smooth engineering execution.
- Monitor on-site project progress, identify potential delays, and implement effective corrective measures.
- Utilize advanced planning tools and software to maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules and critical path analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the design, procurement, and installation phases of the façade lifecycle.
- Liaise with the management team to provide regular progress reports and resource forecasting.
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding project-specific manpower planning and safety inductions.
- Utilize Information Technology tools to streamline communication and data sharing between the office and project sites.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of proven professional experience specifically in Façade projects.
- Strong knowledge of façade planning, scheduling techniques, and project coordination best practices.
- High proficiency in project planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Excellent proficiency in IT tools and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Prior experience working on UAE-based façade projects is highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in English.
- Immediate joiners or those with a short notice period will be given an advantage.
