Job Description:
Duncan & Ross is currently seeking an experienced Civil Inspector to join a major airport development project in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our quality assurance framework, requiring a professional who can provide strategic oversight for both structural and architectural construction activities. You will be responsible for reviewing method statements, verifying engineering drawings, and ensuring all site activities comply with approved quality requirements for management review. We are looking for a technically sound professional with a strong background in large-scale project inspection who can coordinate with multiple stakeholders effectively. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed site inspections for structural and architectural works to drive project quality and safety standards.
- Review and verify engineering drawings, method statements, and inspection requests submitted by contractors.
- Monitor site progress and ensure construction activities align with approved plans for management reporting.
- Coordinate with project engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve site issues and maintain efficiency.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding site safety training and personnel compliance.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in construction inspection specifically on large-scale infrastructure or airport projects.
- Prior experience working with a Main Contractor is essential for this role.
- Technical proficiency in Information Technology tools for digital reporting and drawing interpretation.
- Strong background in education or training regarding UAE construction codes and safety standards.
- Immediate availability and current residency in the UAE are highly preferred.
