Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Custom Clearance Officer / Logistics Controller to join our professional team in Sharjah. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can deliver technical precision for management and compliance performance review. You will be responsible for managing customs clearance for local and international shipments, preparing Bills of Entry, and resolving customs delays. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Hamriyah Free Zone Procedures, Import/Export Documentation, and GCC Trade Regulations and a proactive approach to shipment logistics. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end customs clearance activities to meet management and international trade benchmarks.
- Support regulatory integrity in Sharjah, processing Bills of Entry and customs invoices with 100% precision.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department, customs authorities, and freight forwarders to facilitate professional organizational coordination of logistics operations.
- Monitor customs duties and manage deposit refund processes while tracking shipments across land, sea, and air.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools to ensure full compliance with customs regulations and Letter of Credit requirements.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
- Mandatory experience in Hamriyah Free Zone, Sharjah.
- 3–4 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or customs clearance roles.
- Strong background in management of import/export procedures and document verification.
- Professional background in education regarding Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, and customs deposit refunds.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, communicate in English (Arabic is a plus), and thrive in a high-pressure Sharjah trade environment.
