Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced, analytical, and highly organized HSE Officer to drive daily hazard mitigations, safety inspection logs, and incident avoidance monitoring tracks at our construction site in the Al Dhafra Region. This active field-based role demands complete on-site protective equipment control, precise near-miss file documentation, and immediate contractor concern resolution to guarantee zero workplace safety incidents for senior project management evaluation. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, enforce, and maintain strict health, safety, and environmental protection protocols across all project areas.
- Ensure absolute compliance with Abu Dhabi OSHAD frameworks, UAE safety legislation, and company protection manuals.
- Conduct comprehensive daily site safety inspections, systemic hazard identification loops, and detailed risk assessments.
- Implement effective, preventative site barriers, safe work methodologies, and emergency response evacuation practices.
- Organize and deliver technical safety onboarding, toolbox talks, and continuous field safety awareness modules.
- Investigate site incidents, accidents, or near-miss anomalies immediately and compile comprehensive corrective action blueprints.
- Maintain highly structured digital HSE data archives, environmental inspection logs, and legal compliance records.
- Coordinate seamlessly with construction project managers, subcontracted engineers, and external municipal auditors.
🔹 Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a closely related technical discipline is strictly required.
- Minimum of 10 years of total professional experience within dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental roles.
- At least 5 years of verified professional experience within the UAE managing construction site safety protocols.
- Expert functional knowledge of UAE ministerial safety codes, federal environmental laws, and site auditing procedures.
- Proven capability to draft highly accurate engineering incident matrices and lead complex field accident investigations.
- Excellent leadership, physical enforcement presence, and clear English communication skills to align multi-cultural workforce groups.
- Practical background in education regarding fire prevention metrics, scaffolding safety charts, chemical containment, and project management deadlines.
