Job Description:

We are seeking an incredibly methodical, detail-vigilant, and systems-driven Document Controller (DC – 504) to manage daily technical submittal architectures, engineering blueprint databases, and material procurement remediation tracking tracks at our regional project center in Sharjah. This core operational role demands complete lifecycle control over technical data assets, precise sub-contractor filing file documentation, and immediate workflow bottleneck resolution to guarantee continuous construction velocity for executive project management evaluation. It offers a spectacular platform to leverage your advanced fit-out asset verification background and strategic data management education inside a fast-paced, tier-one contracting enterprise.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Govern all incoming and outgoing construction blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications, ensuring systematic data indexing.
  • Maintain highly structured, instantly retrievable cloud-based and physical document control registers across all active project phases.
  • Monitor complex client submittal workflows, consultant review cycles, and official sign-off pipelines in line with standard contract rules.
  • Enforce absolute, uncompromised version control and master revision logs to eradicate data overlap or obsolete file deployment on site.
  • Conduct regular data compliance audits, checking engineering metadata formats against client requirements and statutory building parameters.
  • Isolate and resolve system discrepancies related to design formatting errors, incomplete material logs, or unapproved engineering edits.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with corporate project managers, specialist fit-out material suppliers, client representatives, and site foremen.
  • Integrate purchasing tracking inputs and logistics documentation with established internal enterprise resource planning platforms.
  • Secure and protect sensitive proprietary commercial data matrices through rigorous digital encryption and restricted access governance.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Possession of a formal Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline is required.
  • 3 to 4 years of active, hands-on professional experience practicing as a Document Controller strictly within finishing contractors or interior fit-out companies.
  • Deep structural understanding of interior construction lifecycle phases, shop drawing submittal paths, and material approval requests (MAR).
  • Practical, hands-on familiarity with specialized procurement software architectures, purchasing workflows, and inventory tracking tools.
  • Possession of a completely valid, active United Arab Emirates Driving License is mandatory.
  • Candidates must own a personal car to facilitate independent transport between regional project sites and administrative centers.
  • Exceptional multitasking capabilities combined with sharp spatial coordination skills and a highly disciplined work ethic.
  • Practical background in education regarding data classification methods, project asset calculation parameters, and enterprise information management logic.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive monthly salary package ranging from AED 4,000 to 5,000.
  • Direct exposure to flagship luxury hospitality fit-out developments, high-profile commercial builds, and premier contracting circles.
  • Structured ongoing operational masterclasses to advance your practical education in architectural information security, modern BIM metadata logic, and predictive workflow optimization.
  • Clear long-term career advancement paths into project coordination directorship, senior site operations management, and regional technical management divisions in the UAE.
