Job Description:
The Senior Estimator will direct core financial tendering, manage comprehensive quantity take-offs, and engineer optimal cost-control mechanisms for premium exhibition, joinery, and fit-out accounts. Working closely with design and fabrication departments, this senior professional will evaluate complex project drawings, build competitive BOQs, orchestrate tender documentation, and drive strategic value engineering proposals to ensure project profitability and commercial success.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for events, exhibitions, luxury interior fit-out, and joinery projects.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine quantities and costs.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed tender submissions.
- Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining project profitability.
- Estimate bespoke joinery, custom fabrication, and high-end fit-out projects.
- Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Project Management, and Production teams.
- Support value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs and efficiency.
- Review project requirements and provide commercial recommendations.
- Maintain accurate estimation records and cost documentation.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of dedicated estimation and cost planning experience, with a strong preference for the UAE/GCC market.
- Proven track record in construction estimation, specifically covering Events, Exhibitions, luxury Interior Fit-Out, and custom Joinery.
- Demonstrated expertise in BOQ preparation, multi-variable quantity take-offs, and structured tendering workflows.
- Strong commercial awareness with hands-on knowledge of bespoke joinery production, specialized materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Outstanding analytical, cost-modeling, organizational, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
