Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Accounting: Manage the complete finance cycle, including daily bookkeeping, project costing, and ledger maintenance.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file accurate UAE VAT returns in accordance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Software Operation: Utilize QuickBooks accounting software for all financial recording and reporting tasks.
- General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger to ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
- Reporting: Generate timely financial statements and provide insights into project-based expenditures and revenue.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations to maintain balance sheet integrity.
🔹 Requirements:
- Market Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant Gulf experience (candidates with 1–1.5 years may also be considered).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and General Ledger processes.
- Software Skills: Proven hands-on proficiency in QuickBooks accounting software.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Status: Open to all nationalities; preference will be given to husband-sponsored or self-sponsored candidates.
- Detail Orientation: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting within an engineering environment.
