Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This specialized role is designed for professionals who have hands-on experience within the car rental sector, specifically in managing complex billing cycles involving vehicle fines and toll charges. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of day-to-day financial operations, from reconciling POS reports to maintaining accurate client master records. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in car rental accounting workflows, ensuring every transaction is allocated with 100% accuracy.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Download, verify, and accurately allocate Salik, Darb, and traffic fines to respective client contracts.
- Generate professional customer invoices and issue detailed Statements of Accounts (SOA) on a regular basis.
- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle and lead proactive follow-ups on outstanding collections.
- Record client payments precisely and issue manual receipts for walk-in transactions when required.
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow, collection, and financial position reports for Management review.
- Handle fuel cost entries, issue credit and debit notes, and manage petty cash transactions.
- Reconcile daily POS Z reports and maintain up-to-date client master records within the system.
- Coordinate with Sales and internal departments to resolve billing disputes and support software updates.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department for staff-related expense claims and payroll data.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is mandatory.
- At least 2 years of solid accounting experience specifically within a car rental company.
- Strong working knowledge of UAE-specific systems: Salik, Darb, and Traffic Fine allocation portals.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume vehicle-related invoicing and client billing.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- High level of accuracy, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize urgent tasks, and meet strict monthly closing deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and various internal departments.
