Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in Sharjah. This role is fundamental to our operational framework, requiring a professional who can manage farm-related financial activities and track operational expenses for management and budgetary review. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, handling accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring full compliance with UAE VAT regulations. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Agriculture Sector Accounting and a proactive approach to cost control. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure all farm transactions meet management standards.
- Monitor farm operational costs and maintain accurate inventory and cost control records in Sharjah.
- Liaise with the Human Resources and operations teams to support financial planning and budgeting.
- Maintain organized financial records for audits and ensure all entries meet 100% data integrity requirements.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and Microsoft Excel for detailed financial analysis and performance reporting.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant academic discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience specifically within the agriculture industry.
- Strong background in management of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and farm-based cost control processes.
- Professional background in education or training regarding UAE VAT regulations and compliance.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence while working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be based in the United Arab Emirates with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
