Job Description:
A well-established organization based in Ajman is currently looking to recruit a skilled and detail-focused Accountant to strengthen its finance department. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, requiring a professional who possesses a deep understanding of local financial regulations and compliance standards. You will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, from daily transaction processing to the preparation of complex financial statements and VAT returns. We are seeking a candidate with an analytical mindset who can join immediately and contribute to our budgeting and forecasting activities. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage all daily financial transactions with high accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare journal entries and perform comprehensive monthly bank reconciliations.
- Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
- Generate periodic financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in strict accordance with UAE regulatory requirements.
- Assist in corporate budgeting activities and strategic financial forecasting.
- Provide technical support during internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure total compliance with UAE accounting standards and internal company financial policies.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience within the UAE is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and local compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or Zoho Books.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Immediate availability to join following the interview process is highly preferred.
