About the Role:
Platinum Coast Hotel Apartments is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant Assistant to join the finance team at our Fujairah property. This role supports day-to-day accounting tasks, helps maintain accurate financial records, and assists with periodic reporting to ensure smooth financial operations for the hotel apartments.
Key Responsibilities:
The Accountant Assistant will support daily accounting and bookkeeping practices, utilizing MS Excel for reconciliations and reporting. You will coordinate with colleagues, maintain financial records, and contribute to month-end activities and day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness under pressure.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Support day-to-day accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with periodic reporting and contribute to month-end activities.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Competent user of MS Office, with strong proficiency in Excel for reconciliations.
- Able to coordinate with colleagues across departments and work under pressure.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance roles, ideally within hospitality or a related service industry.
- Estimated Qualification like Bachelor Degree holder, Diploma/Degree/Certificate.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Willingness to learn hotel-specific accounting procedures.
