Job Description:
On behalf of our client, Black Pearl Consult is currently recruiting a meticulous and analytical Accountant for a well-established organization in Dubai. This role is specifically designed for finance professionals who bring a solid auditing background—particularly those with experience in “Big 4” firms—and are ready to transition into a corporate accounting environment. You will be responsible for managing complex financial data, ensuring adherence to international auditing standards, and overseeing daily financial reporting. We are looking for an ambitious professional who can leverage their audit expertise to improve internal controls and contribute to the strategic management of the firm’s fiscal operations.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and financial reporting.
- Apply advanced auditing principles to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions.
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and lead internal audit processes to ensure organizational compliance.
- Liaise with management to provide financial analysis, budgeting support, and fiscal forecasting.
- Coordinate with Human Resources regarding payroll audits and statutory benefit compliance.
- Utilize Information Technology tools and ERP systems to automate financial reporting and data tracking.
- Identify operational risks and propose corrective measures to improve internal financial controls.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA is highly preferred.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience working as an Accountant.
- Minimum of 3 years of auditing experience within Big 4 firms (PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and international audit procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- High level of proficiency in IT tools for financial data management.
- Professional communication skills in English; UAE work experience is an advantage.
