Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our UAE team. This role is essential for managing our day-to-day financial operations while ensuring absolute compliance with the latest local tax and regulatory frameworks. You will be responsible for overseeing our accounting processes, maintaining robust financial controls, and preparing accurate reports that drive our operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a UAE-based professional who can navigate the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) portals and QuickBooks with ease, providing the technical support necessary for our continued expansion.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all daily accounting activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, including the preparation and submission of returns to the FTA.
  • Process employee payroll accurately in accordance with UAE WPS requirements.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to maintain the company’s financial stability.
  • Coordinate with banking institutions to manage day-to-day financial transactions and corporate banking operations.
  • Liaise with the Management team to implement best practices and strong internal financial controls.
  • Provide comprehensive support for internal and external audits by preparing accurate documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with the Human Resources department regarding staff settlements, leave provisions, and benefit funds.
  • Assist technical departments, such as Engineering or logistics, with project-based cost allocation and material billing.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Mandatory: Minimum 1–2 years of proven accounting experience within the UAE.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience using QuickBooks is essential.
  • Strong understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and WPS compliance.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Relevant industry experience in trading, contracting, retail, or hospitality is highly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and professional communication skills.
  • Must currently reside in the UAE (Local hire only); NOC preferred if applicable.
