Job Description:

Al Sheebani Real Estate is currently looking to hire a competent and detail-focused Accountant to join our team in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a critical role in managing the daily financial operations of our real estate activities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional capable of handling full-cycle accounting, from daily transaction recording to complex month-end reconciliations and VAT compliance. We are looking for an individual with solid UAE-based experience who can ensure our financial records remain accurate and fully aligned with local regulatory standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to grow within the dynamic Dubai property market.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Record daily accounting transactions, including sales, expenses, supplier invoices, receipts, journals, and petty cash entries.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, including ageing analysis, reconciliations, collections, and payment processing.
  • Perform regular bank, cash, and POS reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy across all real estate operations.
  • Maintain strict documentation control and ensure adherence to internal management and compliance standards.
  • Conduct intercompany reconciliations and provide vital assistance during the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support the preparation and reconciliation of VAT documentation in strict accordance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources regarding payroll accounting and employee expense reimbursements.
  • Prepare detailed audit schedules and working files to facilitate smooth internal and external audit procedures.
  • Utilize Information Technology tools and ERP systems to manage financial data and generate performance reports.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 6 years of professional accounting experience, with a strong preference for candidates with UAE market exposure.
  • Sound knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, documentation, and compliance procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with modern ERP or accounting software.
  • High level of proficiency in IT tools for financial data management.
  • Excellent attention to detail with effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Professional communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
  • Immediate availability to join will be considered a significant advantage.
