Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled, confident, and proactive Accountant to manage the complete financial lifecycle of our construction and interior fit-out projects. This is an urgent opportunity for a professional who can hit the ground running, bringing extensive UAE-specific experience in contracting finance. You will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy across multiple project accounts, maintaining robust cost controls, and reporting directly to the Finance Head and CEO. The ideal candidate must be adept at working under pressure and possess the technical ability to translate BOQs and project progress into precise financial data, ensuring our operations remain profitable and compliant.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete accounting cycle specifically for large-scale construction and specialized interior fit-out projects.
- Prepare detailed Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow reports, and complex MIS financial analyses.
- Utilize advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and Tally ERP for all daily accounting operations and data modeling.
- Handle the full payroll process, including WPS submissions, leave tracking, and final end-of-service settlements.
- Interpret Bill of Quantities (BOQs), manage rigorous project costing, and track material allocations against project progress.
- Monitor project expenditures against approved budgets in coordination with the Quantity Surveying department.
- Process and monitor Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) in close collaboration with the Procurement team.
- Liaise with the Management and CEO to provide real-time updates on cash flow and payment schedules.
- Coordinate with Engineering teams to reconcile site expenses and equipment billing.
- Support the Human Resources department in managing staff attendance records and site-specific labor costing.
- Facilitate internal and external audit processes by maintaining meticulous documentation.
🔹 Requirements:
- Mandatory: Minimum 3–5 years of proven UAE experience within a Contracting or Interior Fit-Out company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on understanding of construction accounting standards, supplier reconciliations, and subcontractor management.
- Expert-level proficiency in Tally ERP and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- A confident personality with the ability to maintain accuracy under tight project deadlines.
- Flexibility to adjust office timings based on urgent project requirements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to report directly to senior leadership.
- Male candidates currently residing in the UAE are required for this role.
- Immediate availability to join will be highly preferred.
