Job Description:

The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, reconcile transaction ledgers, and manage balance sheet documentation. Working within our active shipping operations hub, this finance professional will verify freight-related transactions, execute systematic bank reconciliations, support monthly accounting closings, and ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and statutory UAE regulations.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and process daily accounting transactions.
• Prepare and update accounting reports and financial documentation.
• Handle bookkeeping activities and ensure records remain organized.
• Assist with account reconciliations and monitor financial data accuracy.
• Support month-end closing and reporting activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting procedures and financial policies.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of proven professional accounting experience.
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, ledger structures, and financial reporting.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and specialized accounting systems.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE under a Husband Visa are preferred.
• Immediate joiners will be given priority consideration.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively within a fast-paced cargo setting.
