Accountant – Dubai, UAE | ISS Global Forwarding

Job Description:

The Accountant will primarily manage Accounts Receivable, issue invoices, track payments, reconcile accounts, produce reports, and support month-end and audit activities. Fluency in Turkish and familiarity with freight forwarding processes are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue accurate customer invoices following freight forwarding billing procedures.
• Track outstanding receivables and carry out timely collection follow-ups.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment variances.
• Produce AR aging reports, credit-control summaries, and monthly collection updates.
• Assist with month-end closing, AP/GL activities, and audit preparations.
• Liaise with Sales and Operations to confirm billing details and resolve disputes.

Requirements:

• Turkish national or professional-level fluency in Turkish (essential).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years accounting experience, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, credit control, and customer account management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics (DAX) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good command of English and Turkish for effective communication.
