Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a skilled and detail-focused Accountant to join our team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, requiring a finance professional who can independently oversee financial transactions and ensure full compliance with local regulations. You will be responsible for managing the complete accounting cycle, from ledger maintenance to periodic financial reporting and VAT filing. We are looking for an individual with strong analytical abilities who can support our budgeting processes and provide clear financial insights to the management team. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting activities and high-volume financial transactions.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and periodic financial reports for the management team.
- Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes with high efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain meticulously updated general ledger records.
- Ensure proper VAT filing and full compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Support budgeting processes and assist in long-term financial planning and forecasting activities.
- Liaise with Human Resources regarding payroll accounting and employee benefit provisions.
- Utilize Information Technology tools, specifically Tally or ERP systems, to maintain digital financial documentation.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience; previous UAE work experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT rules and local compliance procedures.
- High level of proficiency in IT tools, including Tally, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills in English; a valid UAE Driving License is considered a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to manage management reporting and maintain organized financial records.
- Immediate joiners currently residing in Dubai will be given priority.
