Accountant – Dubai, UAE | The Espresso Lab

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review and present financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and periodic reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, maintain the general ledger, and perform regular reconciliations.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including preparation and filing of VAT returns.
• Support internal and external audit requests and documentation.
• Assist with inventory accounting and cost control procedures relevant to F&B operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of practical accounting experience (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT rules and local financial compliance requirements.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is a plus.
• Proficient with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
