Job Description:
Yas Global is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join its team in Dubai on a full-time basis. This role is fundamental to our daily fiscal activities, requiring a professional who is confident in managing the full spectrum of financial operations while ensuring compliance with UAE regulations. You will be responsible for handling daily transactions, maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, and preparing essential financial reports such as Profit & Loss statements and balance sheets. We are looking for an individual with strong knowledge of UAE VAT requirements and proficiency in modern accounting software. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date bookkeeping records.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and effective collections.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheets and P&L statements, for management review.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE tax regulations, including accurate VAT filing and documentation.
- Process monthly payroll and monitor company expenses to maintain financial accuracy.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain organized digital and physical financial filing systems.
- Liaise with Human Resources regarding employee benefits, final settlements, and payroll disbursements.
- Utilize Information Technology tools, specifically Odoo, to streamline financial reporting and data integrity.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related academic discipline.
- 2–5 years of solid accounting experience specifically within the UAE market.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT requirements and local financial regulations.
- Proficiency in Odoo accounting software is considered a significant advantage.
- High level of IT literacy, particularly in advanced Microsoft Excel for financial modeling.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and professional confidentiality.
- Professional background in education regarding IFRS or modern accounting practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities within a fast-paced management framework.
