Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-focused Accountant – Payables to join our professional team in the UAE. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can deliver fiscal precision for management and financial performance review. You will be responsible for end-to-end accounts payable activities, multi-currency vendor payments, and reconciliations. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Aviation Finance, Accounts Payable Cycles, and International Payment Standards and a proactive approach to cash flow coordination. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify vendor invoices to meet management and audit compliance benchmarks.
- Support financial integrity in the UAE, managing multi-currency and international vendor transactions with 100% precision.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department and Procurement teams to facilitate professional organizational coordination of payment runs.
- Maintain AP aging reports and assist in monthly and year-end closing activities and cash flow forecasting.
- Utilize digital Information Technology tools and accounting software to resolve discrepancies and streamline financial processing.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in accounts payable (Aviation-related finance roles are highly preferred).
- Strong background in management of financial documentation and vendor relationships.
- Professional background in education regarding accounting principles, international payments, and financial reconciliations.
- Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic UAE aviation environment.
