Job Description:

We are seeking a capable and driven Accountant to join our Sharjah team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong foundation in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS, specifically within a consultancy or multi-client environment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting cycle for various clients, ensuring that their financial records are impeccable and fully compliant with national tax laws. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable utilizing modern cloud accounting platforms and can provide valuable financial advisory to support our clients’ business decisions.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure full UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns and Corporate Tax filings via the FTA portal.
• Apply IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) rigorously in all financial reporting and statement preparation.
• Manage and maintain accurate accounting records using platforms such as QuickBooks, Zoho, and Xero.
• Support annual audit preparations and conduct internal financial reviews to ensure data integrity.
• Engage directly with clients to provide reporting updates and strategic financial advisory.
• Liaise with the Management team to optimize internal accounting workflows and client service delivery.
• Coordinate with Human Resources for payroll-related compliance and staff expense audits.
• Collaborate with Engineering or technical firms within our portfolio to manage project-based cost accounting.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years of solid accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE tax regulations, including VAT and the new Corporate Tax framework.
• Proficiency in leading cloud accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books).
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA is considered a significant advantage.
• Comfortable managing multiple client accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
• A valid UAE Driving License is preferred for occasional client site visits.
