Job Description:

The Accountant will audit retail inventory ledgers, file UAE Corporate Tax and VAT returns, perform stock variance reconciliations, and handle supplier invoicing under financial management in Abu Dhabi. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit note verifications.
• Perform physical inventory stock audits, stock reconciliations, variance tracking, and excise duty record keeping.
• Prepare accurate tax computations, UAE VAT returns, and Corporate Tax filing documentation.
• Process supplier invoices, customer billings, purchase orders, and daily retail cash collections.
• Identify, investigate, and reconcile discrepancies in cash registers, inventory valuation, and bank accounts.
• Compile monthly financial statements, trial balances, and inventory valuation reports for management review.

🔹 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 4 to 5 years of proven accounting experience in the UAE, specifically within retail, liquor trading, FMCG, or commercial wholesale sectors.
• In-depth technical knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, Corporate Tax laws, and excise accounting.
• Strong background in retail inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• High numerical precision, analytical acumen, and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
