Job Description:
We are seeking a highly meticulous, technically proficient, and detail-oriented Aluminum Designer to manage daily architectural shop drawing calculations, structural glazing estimations, and design variance remediation tracking tracks at our corporate engineering facility in Dubai. This core technical role demands complete lifecycle control over facade fabrication release orders, precise material take-off file documentation, and immediate site-to-drawing bottleneck resolution to guarantee flawless project delivery velocity for executive project management evaluation. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Architect precise, error-free shop drawings, structural connection layouts, and standard installation details for multi-story facade projects.
- Develop detailed factory fabrication cutting orders, mill assembly instructions, and technical sheet metal processing blueprints.
- Engineer structural glass orders, managing complex glass specification matrixes, performance coatings, and structural silicone parameters.
- Perform meticulous material take-offs, linear profile optimizations, and complete bills of quantities (BOQ) to govern purchasing actions.
- Liaise directly with project consulting engineers, building architects, and on-site construction managers to validate structural design parameters.
- Review incoming project contract models, ensuring all design drafts strictly comply with civil defense regulations and green building codes.
- Construct organized technical documentation packs, product compliance certificates, and structural engineering calculation submittals.
🔹 Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of verified professional experience operating as a facade draftsman or designer within the United Arab Emirates.
- Deep structural understanding of stick and unitized Curtain Wall Systems, double-glazed assemblies, and thermal-break logic.
- Hands-on operational drafting mastery with Aluminum Doors, Windows, louvers, sliding systems, and structural framing geometries.
- Advanced execution familiarity with Aluminum Composite Panel (ACP) Cladding applications, sub-frames, and moisture-barrier layouts.
- Practical background creating engineered designs for custom architectural Pergolas, Canopies, skylights, and balustrade setups.
- High-level technical operational familiarity with premier proprietary design software tied to Gutmann, Schüco, and Alumil Systems.
- Practical background in education regarding material structural load calculations, wastage mitigation math, and engineering workflow management methodologies.
