About the Role:

Rushmore American School, Dubai, is recruiting a versatile Arabic B / Islamic B Teacher for a January 2026 Start Date. We seek a passionate educator who can teach these subjects and actively contribute to our collaborative international school community, ensuring compliance with local education standards (SPEA approval).

Key Responsibilities:

The Teacher will deliver the Arabic B curriculum (Arabic as an additional language to non-native speakers) and/or the Islamic B curriculum (Islamic concepts and Quranic proficiency) within an international curriculum framework. This role requires strong classroom experience, preferably in an international or UAE school context, and commitment to student development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and deliver the Arabic B and/or Islamic B curriculum to appropriate year groups.
  • For Arabic B: Demonstrate strong Arabic language skills and teach Arabic as an additional language.
  • For Islamic B: Possess solid grounding in Islamic studies and confident Quranic proficiency.
  • Contribute to a collaborative teaching team and support professional development initiatives.

Requirements:

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree in Arabic, Islamic Studies, Education, or a closely related field.
  • Proven classroom experience teaching the subject, ideally in an international or UAE school context.
  • Estimated Qualification like Bachelor Degree holder.
  • Appointment to the role is subject to SPEA approval.
  • Availability to start in January 2026.
