Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and commercially focused Assistant Category Buyer to join our professional team in Dubai. This role is fundamental to our organizational framework, requiring a professional who can deliver technical precision for management and procurement performance review. You will be responsible for handling end-to-end procurement for assigned categories, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing product selection. We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in Negotiation, Demand Planning, and UAE Market Dynamics and a proactive approach to business growth. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end procurement activities to meet management and profitability benchmarks.
  • Support operational integrity in Dubai, maintaining strong relationships with local distributors and suppliers with 100% precision.
  • Liaise with the Human Resources department and internal teams to facilitate professional organizational coordination of stock fulfillment processes.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to refine product assortments and pricing strategies.
  • Utilize digital Information Technology tools and Microsoft Excel to analyze sales data and ensure compliance with procurement standards.

🔹 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in retail buying or procurement within the UAE.
  • Strong background in management of categories such as IT, Gaming, Electronics, and Beauty.
  • Professional background in education regarding negotiation terms, local sourcing practices, and demand forecasting.
  • Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, communicate effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced Dubai retail environment.
