Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Lawyer to join our corporate team in Abu Dhabi. This role is designed for a mid-level legal professional with a robust command of UAE corporate statutes and the specialized regulations governing the DIFC and ADGM. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality legal advice, managing complex transactions, and ensuring our clients remain in full compliance with local and international standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional drafting skills and the ability to navigate the intricacies of both civil and common law systems within the UAE.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate law matters and commercial transactions.
- Ensure strict compliance with UAE Federal Laws, DIFC, and ADGM regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, shareholder agreements, and corporate resolutions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal Management teams to develop and execute effective legal strategies.
- Conduct thorough legal research and keep the firm updated on significant changes in UAE laws and regulations.
- Liaise with the Human Resources department regarding legal compliance in employment contracts and labor relations.
- Support the Engineering and construction departments with contractual dispute resolution and risk mitigation.
- Represent the firm’s clients in meetings with regulatory bodies and government authorities.
🔹 Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or Master of Laws (LLM) from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5+ years of solid experience in corporate law specifically within the UAE.
- Expert knowledge of UAE Federal Law and DIFC/ADGM regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (Written and Verbal) is mandatory.
- Proven track record in contract drafting, negotiation, and corporate advisory.
- Exceptional analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple high-priority files.
- Candidates currently based in the UAE are highly preferred.
