Job Description / Role
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Beverage Crafting: Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks according to strict company quality standards.
- Service Excellence: Take customer orders accurately and process cash/card payments efficiently through the POS system.
- Food Support: Assist with basic food preparation and assembly when required to support the kitchen team.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the barista station and seating areas.
- Guest Engagement: Ensure every guest receives a friendly, welcoming, and professional experience from start to finish.
- Operational Support: Support daily opening and closing procedures, including inventory checks and equipment maintenance.
🔹 Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience as a Barista, including basic food handling.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating espresso machines, grinders, and milk steaming equipment.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional customer service abilities with clear and confident communication in English.
- Multitasking: Proven ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple orders during peak busy hours.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Background: Previous experience in a specialty coffee shop or high-volume café environment is a significant advantage.
