Job Description:
SSP Emirates LLC is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bartender to join its high-energy team at Zayed International Airport, Abu Dhabi. This role is fundamental to our airport operations, requiring a beverage specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment. You will be responsible for preparing a wide range of beverages and cocktails while delivering exceptional service to travelers from around the world. We are looking for an individual with a genuine passion for guest experiences who can perform efficiently under pressure. 🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages and cocktails in accordance with established brand recipes and presentation standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service to a diverse range of international travelers, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar environment while adhering to strict hygiene management protocols.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions and manage cash/credit payments using integrated Information Technology systems.
- Liaise with the Human Resources team regarding shift scheduling and performance development.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to the supervisor.
- Coordinate with engineering or maintenance teams for the upkeep of bar equipment and refrigeration systems.
- Execute sales upselling techniques to enhance outlet revenue while maintaining guest satisfaction.
🔹 Requirements:
- Diploma or professional certification in Hospitality, Management, or Mixology is preferred.
- Proven experience as a bartender or within a busy F&B environment is highly valued.
- Strong technical knowledge of beverage preparation, cocktail mixing, and sensory profiles.
- Ability to perform efficiently and maintain composure under pressure in a busy airport setting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of sales proficiency.
- Professional background in education or training related to international service standards.
- High level of IT literacy for managing digital payment and order systems.
- Strong commitment to delivering memorable and high-quality guest experiences.
